     Green Food is an innovative project of China, initiated and coordinated nationwide by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Peo-ple's Republic of China since 1990. Its fundamental concept and objectives are to enhance food quality and safety, to promote consumer's health, and to protect agricultural bio-environ-ment for sustainable development.
